VICK® polypropylene fiber is produced by the imported equipment and technology by Shenzhen Weitenai Engineering Material Co., Ltd. With specific craftwork and surface processing technology, VICK® polypropylene fiber has the excellent dispersion in the concrete and the bonding force of cement matrix. What's more, the VICK-A Polyvinyl Alcohol Fiber (PVA fiber) is uniformly dispersible in the concrete, with strong bond with the cement matrix. It can improve the performance of concrete through the purely-physical action, and does not produce any chemical reaction after mixing with the aggregate of concrete and the cement of additive/admixture. With a stable physical and chemical property, it can improve the working performance of concrete with its good affinity to concrete materials, Its reinforced concrete is a cement matrix compound with the reinforcing materials of PVA fiber. Compared with ordinary concrete, this reinforced concrete possesses a higher mechanical performance of tension/bending resistance, and a better resistance to the impact, fatigue, permeation, water-seepage, freezing and early plastic shrinkage cracking, thereby to improve the durability of concrete. As proven by relevant tests, by mixing VICK-A polyvinyl alcohol fiber (PVA fiber) into the concrete and adjusting the proportion of water reducer, it can realize various good construction performances of concrete mixture, i.e. improve the loss rate of slump and air content, greatly reduce the water-bleeding rate, improve the splitting tensile strength, reduce the elastic modulus, improve the ultimate tensile strength, significantly improve the deformation performance, reduce the dry shrinkage strength, and reduce the autogenous volume-deforming shrinkage strength. These good performances greatly benefit the temperature-controlled cracking resistance of concrete.
